NetFlix screwed up with another Anime adaptation!
Personally, I really love this company, they made a very lively Jessica Jones (the first season was definitely super), Daredevil is simply fantastic, 13 Reasons Why just keeps me in suspense for all 13 episodes, and how can you not mention Stranger Things – this is the small part of the series that captured my mind and heart.

But here’s the problem, they can’t get a full meter. Especially full meter Anime. The first anime they filmed was the cult favorite Death Note by everyone (not just anime fans). Oh, how long have I been trying to forget this movie?. And it’s not about L, who was played by a black actor. I’m calm about this. The problem was in the style and logic of what was happening. And as practice has shown, the film did not work and not only did not work, but failed. There was a lot of hate towards companies. And here NetFlix should think that this is not theirs and try not to take on such work. But no, once again they take Anime that is loved by many people.. Yes I’m talking about Fullmetal Alchemist. But unlike Notebook, here they decided to cast the Japanese in the main roles (the naive thought that this would save them). I don’t argue, the visual part is gorgeous. The landscapes, the images of the main characters, and the secondary ones are simply gorgeous. The homunculi turned out great… But this is not enough, the plot is shown in fits and starts, crumpled. Actors play like Kristen Stewart. Damn, the stone even has more emotions. When you watch this film, you can’t help but feel like it’s a summary of an anime. It seems that NetFlix decided to take the brightest, most memorable and shocking (this applies to the series about the chimera) moments from the anime and add them to the film, they say people like it and that means it will give a ride.
This all smacks of carelessness and a desire to simply make money on additional merch for the film. And realizing this, it becomes even more disgusting from viewing this “creation”.
And in this regard, it becomes even more offensive from the fact that they acquired the rights to the film adaptation of Sword Art Online. Oh, it seems to me that another big failure is coming… This makes me sad(((
